Is Tom Brady returning to the Patriots? 7x Super Bowl winner addresses fresh unretirement speculation

Tom Brady retired this offseason after over two decades in the NFL.

Many fans are wondering if the seven-time Super Bowl winner will lace up the cleats once again. However, the former Buccaneers star recently addressed any speculation of his unretiring.

He attended his own 'unofficial retirement' party thrown by Autograph and was asked about what lies ahead in the next chapter of his life. Per Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, it seems that the 45-year-old is content with staying retired and enjoying his children.

In his most recent retirement speech, the former three-time NFL MVP echoed the same sentiments as he did at his party. Brady said:

"I'm retiring. For good. I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning, I figured I'd just press record, and I'd let you guys know first. It won't be long-winded. You only get one super emotional retirement essay, and I used mine up last year."
"So, I really thank you guys so much. To every single one of you for supporting me: My family, my friends, my teammates, my competitors, I could go on forever. There's too many. Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream. I wouldn't change a thing. I love you all."
Tom Brady at his Autograph “unofficial retirement” party last night in Tampa, when asked what comes next for him: “There is nothing I love more than football, but I have young children and they watched enough of their dad’s games and it's time for me to watch their games.”

Tom Brady and the next phase of his career do have a bright future, including one that keeps him close to the game of football.

The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback will join Fox Sports in 2024 as an NFL analyst as he's taking the upcoming season to prepare. He's also stepping into the world of comedy, sort of.

Brady is in talks with Netflix to be the focal point of a roast special with the working title, “The Greatest Roast of All Time."

Per reports by TMZ, the former New England Patriots star pursuing a career in standup comedy is false. Either way, the schedule for Tom Brady will be full as his career is officially turning a chapter soon.
