Tony Romo was a former football quarterback who played for the team, Dallas Cowboys in the NFL. Romo was born on April 21, 1980 in San Diego, California journey. Romo attended high school at Burlington High School, where he played as a quarterback. After finishing his high school education, Romo committed to play collegiate football at Eastern Illinois University. His performances in college led him to being recognized with several awards and honors such as the Walter Payton Award. In 2021, Tony Romo was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Romo was left undrafted in the 2003 draft. He was signed by the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted rookie. His career over the next 13 years displayed learning and growth. Some of his accolades include being named to the All-Pro Second-Team and being named to the Pro-Bowl 4 times. Over 13 years, Romo passed for 34,183 yards and scored 248 touchdown passes. Over the duration of his career, Romo has made it to the postseason 6 times (via Pro Football Reference).

Romo was hired by CBS Sports as an analyst after retiring from the NFL, to serve as an analyst for the sport network’s NFL telecasts. Achieving great success in broadcasting in the NFL, Tony Romo went on to broadcast for programs in golf.
