Tyreek Hill vs Josh Allen: An epic battle in the snow globe between two MVP candidates
Tyreek Hill and Josh Allen are among the top contenders for the MVP title in this NFL season. When two contenders for the prestigious title meet each other as part of opposing teams, it gives the viewers a great sporting spectacle.
Fans who stayed home on Saturday night were treated to a fantastic divisional game between the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills. It saw Josh Allen and Tyreek Hill making plays in all four quarters, in one of the coldest games of the season.
As the Buffalo Bills defeated the Miami Dolphins by a 32-29 score, the two guys made a lot of plays to ensure their teams were in the fight. It was Josh Allen who got the last laugh, though, as his team produced an epic comeback in the snow and got revenge for their Week 3 loss to the same opponents.
NFL MVP candidates: Josh Allen's heroic effort powered the Bills to a win
Josh Allen had one of his best games of the season as he threw for 304 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions. He also added 77 rushing yards when the snow fell heavily and the passing game became affected by the weather.
The Bills weren't consistent throughout the entire game. But Allen made enough plays to keep the team in the hunt until they could figure out how to stop the Dolphins' running game. Once the defense found an answer, Allen led the attack to 11 straight points in the fourth quarter to confirm the win.
Allen had some bad games recently, but he did a great job avoiding interceptions on Saturday night. He did suffer a fumble though, but it wasn't his fault as Jaelen Phillips came free off the edge and took the ball out.
Tyreek Hill's incredible touchdown reception wasn't enough
While Tyreek Hill didn't have flashy numbers for the evening, he was still an important part of the Dolphins' offensive plan, with nine receptions for 69 yards and a touchdown.
Hill lost a bit of ground to Justin Jefferson in the fight for most receiving yards in 2022, but he remains an MVP candidate with an incredible season.
Although the Dolphins lost the game, Tyreek Hill produced a fantastic touchdown over All-Pro cornerback Tre'Davious White, which gave the Dolphins the lead in the third quarter. Unfortunately for him, Miami's defense couldn't hold the lead in the final quarter.
With three games left, Allen and Hill are still in the hunt for the MVP award in 2022. An epic game in the snow gave the fans a treat on Saturday night, and the superstars did not disappoint.
