Waiver Wire Week 16 Priority Wide Receiver adds feat. Jalen Coker and Jalen McMillan

Finding the best players on the Week 16 fantasy football waiver wire can truly make a difference in seeking a league championship. The fantasy playoffs are underway, so managers must use this time to make sure their rosters are as strong as possible. Here are some of the best wide receivers to target this week to help them do so.

#1 Jalen Coker

Jalen Coker made his return last week for the Carolina Panthers after missing their past three games with an injury. He exploded for a season-high 110 yards and a season-best WR11 weekly finish, demonstrating his upside in their offense.

The Panthers have one of the weakest groups of wide receivers in the NFL, especially after trading away Diontae Johnson and Jonathon Mingo.

This means that Coker could have a sustainable workload down the stretch across from Adam Thielen in the starting lineup. This makes him a valuable addition from the Week 16 fantasy football waiver wire.

#2 Rashod Bateman

Rashod Bateman has been extremely inconsistent in fantasy football this year, but he has finished among the top 20 weekly wide receivers five times. One of those came in his most recent game for the Baltimore Ravens, including 80 yards and two touchdowns on his way to a weekly WR8 finish.

The Ravens are surely a run-first team but are highly efficient in the passing game as well. Bateman is clearly their WR2 alongside Zay Flowers, which gives him upside and makes him a solid player to target from the Week 16 waiver wire. This is especially since he has already proven his massive ceiling in the right situations.

#3 Jalen McMillan

Jalen McMillan was an attractive waiver wire target when both Mike Evans and Chris Godwin went down with injuries for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The rookie failed to capitalize on the massive opportunity but has broken in a big way in recent weeks since Evans has returned to their lineup.

McMillan has turned in two consecutive impressive performances ahead of Week 16, totaling 134 yards and three touchdowns in those two games.

They were good enough for WR8 and WR18 weekly finishes with just three games remaining on his schedule. All of them are against poor passing defenses, so McMillan has a ton of upside and could be an extremely valuable late-season addition in fantasy football.
