WATCH: Michael Irvin goes the extra mile by putting on hilarious costume for Halloween
Michael Irvin was known for his penchant for big plays when he played in the NFL. He was always admired for going that extra mile that helped the Dallas Cowboys to three Super Bowl victories.
So there was no reason to believe that when Michael Irvin walked into the studio today, he wouldn't go above and beyond expectations.
When Rich Eisen was talking about the Baltimore Ravens, who should enter but Michael Irvin dressed as a raven? He entered the frame from the side before completing a full circle, then, Eisen proceeded to ask him some questions after he 'landed'.
Rich Eisen asked him if he, meaning the Ravens, were a trick or a treat given the Baltimore Ravens led the division with a 5-3 record. They have also led by at least 10 points in every game they have played so far this season.
Irvin definitely agreed, saying he is the real deal and interspersed his commentary with sporadic caw-caws. Watch the whole video below:
Michael Irvin's sartorial choices
Michael Irvin is one of the best-dressed men in the NFL. However, he attributes his style to his wife Sandra, as he said in 2018 to The Dallas Morning News. His style, from designer ties to suits, has always caught the attention of people.
He is famous for his nine-button suit that he popularized and has customized his dresses before for other causes as well.
He has not been shy in giving out style tips in social media right from how to dress and why shoes are important in any get up. Keeping up his penchant for sytling, he even posted during the pandemic a video showing how he was fully dressed up even while working from home.
However, beyond his own style statement, Irvin has used his dress sense for other important causes as well. He famously wore a pink suit to the Super Bowl to raise awareness about breast cancer and rare muscle diseases. He namechecked his friend and her daughter and wore the costume on their behalf.
No wonder then that his particular style of clothing has been commercialized. Many of his suits feature his name and are embroidered with the number 88 that he made famous during his time with the Dallas Cowboys.
It was also no surprise then that he chose to customize his dress for the occasion. Halloween is already a time to let one's hair down and Michael Irvin could be counted on to make it count.
