Week 17 of the 2024 NFL season features a Saturday prime-time matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Rams. Both teams also have a ton of relevant players for Fantasy Football, so here's how everything breaks down for this game.

The Arizona Cardinals suffered a devastating loss to the Carolina Panthers last week, which ended their hopes of making it into the NFL Playoffs. The Los Angeles Rams are in a different situation amid their four-game winning streak, holding the three-seed in the NFC playoff picture entering Week 17.

While the Rams have yet to clinch their spot, Sportskeeda's NFL Playoff Predictor believes that they will be going to the postseason this year by protecting their current seeding. To do so they will need to hold off the Seattle Seahawks for the NFC West division title. They lead by just half of a game, so they control their destiny at this point.

Victories in their final two games will lock up a division crown and a playoff spot for the Rams. That starts with the Cardinals in Week 17, who can play spoiler to their postseason hopes. When these two teams met earlier this year the Cardinals blew them out by a 41-10 final score on Sept. 15, which could give them confidence ahead of this matchup. The Rams have much more to play for, which could be motivating, but also puts additional pressure on them against a nothing-to-lose team.

Prediction: Rams 26 - Cardinals 20
