Week 7 Fantasy Football Start 'Em Sit 'Em RBs feat. James Conner, Nick Chubb, De'Von Achane and more
Running backs are always among the most important fantasy football players when setting weekly lineups. It's important to have a specific strategy for the position by targeting players with strong recent performances and solid matchups, among other factors.
Here are some of the best ones to target and fade in Week 7 of the 2024 season.
Fantasy Football Week 7 RBs Start 'Em picks
James Conner has been consistently solid during the 2024 fantasy football season so far as the leading running back for the Arizona Cardinals. He has finished among the top 20 weekly running backs in four of his six games on his way to currently being ranked as the overall RB14 this year. Despite a tough Week 7 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, he is a solid lineup option.
He is joined by Tony Pollard, who is having a strong first year with the Tennessee Titans. He has finished four of his five games this season ranked as the RB22 or better, including in all of his appearances he has received at least 10 touches. The Buffalo Bills' defense is currently allowing the 10th-most rushing yards per game, so Pollard has a favorable Week 7 matchup.

Fantasy Football Week 7 RBs Sit 'Em picks
Nick Chubb is expected to make his return for the Cleveland Browns in Week 7 after missing more than a full year with a knee injury. It's unclear how large his workload will be after such a long absence, so he will be a risk to trust in fantasy football lineups this week. Sportskeeda's Who Should I Start tool projects him to score just eight fantasy points, making him a fade.
De'Von Achane is another running back that should be avoided this week, as he has struggled in recent weeks. He has finished outside of the top 30 running backs in each of his past three games and has received fewer than 15 touches in all of them. He should be stashed on the bench until he proves he can be more productive in the Miami Dolphins' struggling offense.
