“You talking about grabbing my ding-ding sauce?” – When Marshawn Lynch left Conan O’Brien clutching his head in surprise
Now retired, Marshawn Lynch had quite the relationship with the NFL during his active days.
Over the years, it turned into jest as he refers to the NFL as the 'No Fun League.' Some moments, however, are more bizarre than others.
This included Lynch's previous appearance on "Conan," which had host Conan O'Brien in splits. Lynch was asked about his crotch-grab, which often came as a celebration over a win. The whole situation warranted a hilarious conversation between the two.
"You called it the No Fun League because you like to celebrate in the end zone," O'Brian said. "You like to celebrare when you had a great run with, uh, grabbing yourself in a certain area. I don't want to get to vulgar. I don't want to get too nasty."
Lynch responded:
“You talking about grabbing my ding-ding sauce?”
As Lynch continued to laugh, O'Brian wondered if he was saying 'grandma ding-ding sauce.' Lynch immediately corrected him, causing Conan to clarify that he didn't want to talk about anyone's grandma.
"Mama, I apologize for him right now," Lynch said.
Towards the end, Lynch agreed that the NFL doesn't like a lot of stuff, and how he can do anything he wants now that he is 'out in the world.'
Marshawn Lynch is headed to Hollywood for his retirement
After a successful career in the NFL, Lynch is headed to Hollywood. He was in a movie called "Bottoms," which debuted at SXSW with promising reviews. As per Slash Film's Ryan Scott, Lynch stole the entire show:
"Marshawn Lynch has "it" and he is more than a great football player: he's downright magnetic on screen. The way the crowd in that jam-packed was absolutely hooting and hollering when Lynch showed up in 'Bottoms'nunexpectedly was my first signal that something was happening here."
He added:
"From there on out, he ran with the ball and earned his laughs the hard way, and boy did he earn plenty of them."
In a recent interview, Lynch spoke about having fun while acting, and how it was a completely different experience for him.
"Like I think about when I was a youth, I’m like, “Oh, that s--t would look fun to do."
As he explores acting, one can expect more acting from Lynch's side, who seems to be enjoying a career switch.
