Who could be the next NFL HC to get fired? 3 head coaches on the hot seat feat. Jaguars' Doug Pederson

Robert Saleh became the first coach to get fired this year. After a 2-3 start to the season, the New York Jets decided to part ways with Saleh, who had one year left on his deal.

Saleh may not be the only coach to be fired this season, as there are several others around the league who could lose their jobs if their teams don't turn around their seasons.

Last season, eight coaches lost their jobs. Here are three current ones who could be fired this year.

Three NFL head coaches who could get fired

#1 Doug Pederson - Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars won their first game of the season in Week 5 against the Indianapolis Colts. However, that might not be enough to save Doug Pederson's job.

The Jaguars' next two games are in London, firstly against the Chicago Bears and then against the New England Patriots. If the team fails to win both games, the chances of Pederson continuing as the Jaguars' coach are close to zero.

There's a possibility that even if the team goes 1-1, Pederson could lose his job. This offseason, the Jaguars signed Trevor Lawrence to a five-year $275 million extension, and if the team doesn't go on a winning streak, they will likely try to get a new coach.

This is Pederson's third year with the Jaguars, and he is 19-20 in 39 games with the franchise.

#2 Nick Sirianni - Philadelphia Eagles

Nick Sirianni is another coach who is under immense pressure. The Eagles are 2-2 heading into Week 6 but have lost eight out of their last 13 games since last season.

The Eagles had a bye in Week 5, and it came at the right time for Sirianni. Philadelphia has games against the Cleveland Browns, New York Giants and Cincinnati Bengals in the next three weeks. If the team fails to win less than two games during this span, the Eagles could cut ties with Sirianni.

Sirianni has a record of 36-19 as the Eagles' coach, but poor form along with a questionable relationship with Jalen Hurts could mark the end of his tenure in Philadelphia.

#3 Dennis Allen - New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints started the season 2-0 but have lost three straight games since then. Dennis Allen is in his third year as the coach and has a record of 18-21. The team has failed to make the playoffs in the last two seasons.

The Saints' next three games are against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers. If the team fails to return to winning ways, the Saints will likely part ways with him, as his record with the team hasn't been impressive.

The Cincinnati Bengals are 1-4 on the season, and Zac Taylor is another coach who's on the hot seat. Despite Joe Burrow playing like an MVP, the Bengals have failed to win games. The chances of Taylor getting fired are quite low, but it's a situation worth monitoring.
