Who are the top donors to Damar Hamlinโ€™s GoFundMe? Tom Brady, Russell Wilson make generous donations while Commanders draw flak

Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest live on Monday Night Football after a tackle on Tee Higgins. The Bills safety was rushed to the hospital after CPR was performed in the middle of the field. Immediately and over the course of the week, fans, pundits, players, and owners poured out support for the player.

Since the injury, his toy fund on GoFundMe, which had a goal of $2,500, has now reached over $7 million. Currently, to become a "top donor," the fund is requiring the donor to give at least $4,925, which is almost double what the original goal was. The biggest single donation is worth more than five times that much.

Who gave the most and what were some of the biggest names to donate? Here's a look at where things stand.

Colts owner Jim Irsay and his team donated $25,003. Many donations ended with a three to signify the player's jersey number.

In addition to Indianapolis, Robert Kraft and the New England Patriots donated $18,003. Matthew Stafford donated $12,000. Sean McVay, Russell Wilson, and Tom Brady each donated $10,000. Davante Adams donated $5,000. Ryan Leaf, Shannon Sharpe, and Josh McDaniels donated $2,500.

The Washington Commanders donated $5,000 to Hamlin's fund. This is a fifth of what the Indianapolis Colts gave and half of what Sean McVay, Russell Wilson and Tom Brady each donated. Fans who were already upset with the franchise over its troubles under owner Dan Snyder saw this as another opportunity to call out the team and its owner.

The league has been upfront about how they're prioritizing Hamlin first before any football matters.
