Why was Joe Rogan clowning Brittany Mahomes? Recapping his thought on Patrick Mahomes' possible divorce
Patrick Mahomes is one of the faces of the NFL and arguably the best quarterback in the league. However, the Kansas City Chiefs star has had to deal with comments not just about himself but of his wife, Brittany Mahomes.
Recently, podcaster and MMA commentator Joe Rogan commented on the two-time NFL MVP's wife. Rogan commented on his eponymous podcast that Brittany will expect to receive the same energy should she and Mahomes ever get divorced:
“Promise they keep that same energy when you get divorced. They come after you. They come after you with that same energy.”
The entrepreneur went off in a series of tweets in response to Rogan's comments:

Brittany is also part owner of the women's soccer team Kansas City Current. Their love story has a long history that started all the way back in Texas. In March 2021, the couple were married back in Hawaii.
They have two children together, daughter Sterling, who was born in February 2020, and son Bronze, who came into the world last November.
Brittany commented back in 2018 on the difficulties of being in the spotlight.
Brittany commented on getting hate from fans since being with Patrick Mahomes
Brittany noted that she has had to handle plenty of hate from NFL fans and discover methods in terms of how to deal with those detractors. In an interview back in 2018 on the "Shootin with Soph" podcast, she explained what extremes were taken to steer clear of the hate:
“I had to change my phone number because people were texting me and harassing me and saying all these mean and hateful things. It’s hard because I have feelings just like they do.”
She added:
“When they say things like I’m ugly and Patrick could have someone better than me, they have no idea what they’re saying."
While some fans see Brittany as a distraction, others see her as a supportive spouse to her husband. Without question, Patrick Mahomes knows his wife will always have his back.
