Why hasn't Odell Beckham Jr. signed for a team yet?
Odell Beckham Jr. is one of the more sought-after NFL free agents as teams look to establish their wide receiving core. The question is -- why is the three-time Pro Bowl wideout still on the open market?
According to NFL reporter Dov Kleiman, the receiver is recovering from an ACL injury suffered in Super Bowl 56 for the Los Angeles Rams.
According to reports, we likely won't see any movement until mid-December in terms of Beckham Jr. getting signed.
The challenge for the former New York Giants star and any NFL team continues to be the timing for doing a deal. Any team waiting until Beckham is completely healed and ready to go may have waited too long. Beckham Jr. should also fight the urge to make a quick decision.
As a free agent, he has all the time to pick the franchise he thinks will be the most appealing. In terms of contenders and suitors, there is no shortage of either among teams.

โI want them to come true [Beckham Jr. rumors], I have not heard anything in the locker room or anything around the facility. Somethingโs in the air for sure.โ
The Chiefs offense would be that much more explosive as they lead the NFL in points per game at 29.8 points. They have the sixth-best offense in the league this season at 382.3 yards per game.
Looking at the Rams, it seemed like a lock for a reunion as the team kept his locker and nameplate from last season. However, he took to Twitter to share that the team has given low-ball offers to return to the team.
The Rams signed Beckham after being released by the Cleveland Browns in November 2021 on a one-year deal. He played eight games in the regular-season for Los Angeles, catching 27 passes, 305 yards, and five touchdowns.
For now, it seems that the Chiefs have an inside track to sign the 29-year-old as the Rams are on the outside looking in.
