Why isn't Romeo Doubs playing tonight vs Dolphins? All about Packers WR's absence on Thanksgiving
The NFC North has been a division to watch this year with three teams scaling the seven-win mark heading into the Thanksgiving Day schedule. All of the Green Bay Packers (8-3), Minnesota Vikings (9-2) and Detroit Lions (10-1) have dominated have various points of the season in what will be a pretty exciting run-in with the business end of the season on the horizon.
As the Packers get set to face the Miami Dolphins to cap off the Thanksgiving Day schedule tonight, they are wrestling with their fair share of injuries. The Packers will miss the services of wide receiver Romeo Doubs, while CB Jaire Alexander and LB Edgerrin Cooper have also been ruled out.
Why isn't Romeo Doubs playing tonight vs Miami Dolphins?
The Packers picked up a crucial win over the San Francisco 49ers last week but it came at a price. Doubs suffered a nasty hit in the third quarter during a play in the end zone. While the pass eventually resulted in a pass interference penalty against Niners CB Renardo Green, Doubs had to leave the game after being diagnosed with a concussion.
He had three catches for 54 yards before exiting in the third quarter. The Packers will certainly miss his services given he is second on the team with 34 receptions and 483 receiving yards to go with two TD catches.
