Alexei Popyrin is an Australian tennis player and the second highest ranked athlete from his nation, as of November 2024. Popyrin has a career-high ranking of No. 23 in the world, which he achieved in August 2024. Although he is yet to win a Grand Slam title, the Australian has captured three singles titles on the ATP circuit. His best Grand Slam performance came at the 2024 US Open, where he reached Round-4.

Born on 5 August 1999 in Sydney, Australia, Alexei Popyrin turned pro in 2017. He entered the Top-100 by 2019, and won his maiden professional title in 2021. Popyrin’s biggest success remains his Masters-1000 victory in Canada.
