5 Dynamax Pokemon trainers will love to see debut next in Pokemon GO
Dynamax Pokemon have fully been brought to Pokemon GO following the release of the GO big event. With the first wave of these Pocket Monsters finally being introduced, many fans may be wondering what creatures Niantic will introduce next. While future plans for the Max Out season are still unclear, there are several critters players may like to see in the game in the near future.
Here are five popular picks that would be great candidates for Pokemon GO's Dynamax mechanic.

5 Dynamax Pokemon that should be brought to Pokemon GO
1) Dragapult
Dragapult's evolutionary line was introduced during the beginning of Pokemon GO's Max Out season, yet its base form did not receive a Dynamax form like the other creatures did.
With Niantic showing interest in making Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon available in Dynamax forms, as seen with Dynamax Beldum scheduled to arrive in the game on September 18, 2024, this was an odd choice by the developer.
This may be because Niantic wants to restrict higher-value Dynamax Pokemon behind higher difficulty levels (Dynamax Beldum is confirmed to have a Three-Star difficulty rating).
With Max Battles only allowing Dynamax Pokemon to participate, Niantic likely wanted to give players time to acquire stronger creatures rather than introducing a more difficult challenge right away.
2) Dragonite
Dragonite has been one of the most beloved creatures in Pokemon GO. It has also proven to stand the test of time, remaining at the top of the Master League since its debut. Since it is such a great battler, many players would love to have access to a Dynamax Dragonite in their collection.
Of course, Dynamax Dragonite may be introduced to the game in its base form, Dratini. If Dynamax Beldum being a Three-Star Max Raid Boss is an established pattern by Niantic, Dynamax Dratini will likely have a Three-Star difficulty as well.
As such, if it were to come to the game before more suitable counters are introduced, Dynamax Dratini would likely be too difficult for some players.
3) Pikachu
Pikachu is typically valued by collectors more than the general playerbase due to the costumed variants Niantic releases for the creature.
Being the franchise mascot, Pikachu was also showcased using Dynamax when the feature was revealed in the main series. As such, it feels odd that Pikachu has not been shown to Dynamax in Pokemon GO imagery.
This could be because Niantic is saving Pikachu for the release of Gigantamax forms. Gigantamax Pokemon are like Dynamax Pokemon but feature a unique design and a signature move.
Pikachu received one of these Gigantamax forms, which players can get for free in Pokemon Sword and Shield if they have existing save data from Pokemon Let's GO: Pikachu.
4) Giratina
With Halloween right around the corner for Pokemon GO, the ruler of the Distortion World, Giratina, will likely emerge once again as a Raid Boss. Introducing Dynamax Giratina would give players a real challenge, considering how much harder Max Battles are compared to standard raids.
With no Legendary Pokemon available through Max Battles as of writing, introducing Giratina as the first would get a lot of players talking.
Giratina is already a reputable battler for standard raids in Pokemon GO. With this in mind, its Dynamax form would be an amazing addition for those interested in pursuing these Max Battles.
5) Eternatus
Eternatus is the tertiary Legendary Pokemon in the Galar main series titles. It is the ultimate threat the player and their rival must stop at the climax of the plot.
Information for Eternatus alrady exists within Pokemon GO's files, with mentions of its exclusive Eternamax form being present as well. Though it is much too early in the season to introduce Eternatus, its addition to the mobile game is inevitable.
Niantic may also attempt to release Eternamax Eternatus as an ultimate Raid Boss for an event, similar to both Necrozma fusions being present as the mascots for 2024's Pokemon GO Fest event.
