5 things to look forward to in Pokemon GO in November 2024
The second-last month of this year will see the arrival of many exciting events and content for trainers and hence we have covered five things for them to look ahead to in Pokemon GO in November 2024. While September introduced Dynamax Pokemon in Max Battles, October introduced Gigantamax Pokemon in Max Battles. These gimmicks have sparked new playstyles, strategies, and moves, and have increased the number of trainers that can join them.
Niantic has officially revealed the content roadmap for next month, indicating the return of Origin Forme Palika and Origin Forme Dialga and the Festival of Light 2024 (an India-specific event). This article details everything you need to know about the most exciting additions coming to Pokemon GO in November 2024.

Shiny Toxtricity, GO Battle League, and three other things to look for in Pokemon GO in November 2024
1) Festival of Lights
The Festival of Lights is one of the special events for trainers living in India and Nepal, as this festival (Diwali/Dipawali) symbolizes the victory of good over evil or light over darkness. To celebrate this, you will want to partake in the event between November 1, 2024, 10:00 am local time, and November 4, 2024, 8:00 pm local time.
A saree is a women's apparel from the Indian subcontinent countries, and this time, Pikachu wearing a saree will make its debut during the Festival of Light in Pokemon GO in November 2024.
Also, the Shiny version of this creature will be available to encounter, but only lucky ones can come across it. Furthermore, the Festival of Light focuses on bringing back creatures via Incense that can glow to match the theme of the event.
2) Encounter Shiny Arboliva, Shiny Dolliv, and Shiny Smoliv for the first time
Shiny Smoliv can evolve into Shiny Dolliv and Shiny Arboliva. The time to collect them is upon us because we will see the debut of these Shiny Pokemon with the start of the Harvest Festival event in Pokemon GO in November 2024. The event will start on November 7, 2024, 10:00 am local time and conclude on November 12, 2024, 8:00 am local time.
You should remember that you will not be able to encounter and catch Shiny Dolliv and Shiny Arboliva. You must catch Shiny Smoliv and then trigger its evolution by feeding it the required amount of Pokemon Candies.
3) Origin Forme Palkia and Origin Forme Dialga raids
When Origin Formes Palkia and Dialga made their GO debut at the start of Pokemon GO Tour: Sinnoh - Los Angeles on February 16, 2024, trainers were pumped to see how they would perform in battles.
As expected, these Legendary Pokemon showcased outstanding prowess in PvP and PvE battles, making them two of the monsters worthy of praise and recognition.
The Raid Battles featuring Origin Forme Dialga and Origin Forme Palika will be held in Pokemon GO in November 2024. Their raids will begin on November 18, 2024, 10:00 am local time and end on November 27, 2024, 10:00 am local time. These monsters have special Adventure Effect moves, so make sure you defeat 5-star raids of Origin Forme Dialga and Origin Forme Palika.
4) The debut of Shiny Toxtricity Family
The Shiny Toxtricity family includes Toxel, Toxtricity (Amped Form), and Toxtricity (Low Key Form). These Pocket Monsters will be featured as debutants at Pokemon GO Wild Area 2024.
While Toxel will be available to hatch and encounter from 10 KM eggs, Amped Toxtricity and Low Key Toxtricity will appear as Raid Bosses and Power Spot Bosses. You will have to defeat the latter two in 4-star Raid Battles or in Max Battles in Pokemon GO in November 2024 to get them.
It is important to keep in mind that the Pokemon defeated in Max Battles will have the power to Dynamax in Pokemon GO. The Wild Area event will commence on November 23, 2024, 10:00 am local time and end on November 24, 2024, 6:15 PM local time.
5) GO Battle League rotations
The GO Battles League in Pokemon GO in November 2024 will rotate battle formats that trainers are excited to see and play. They are as follows:
- GO Battle Weekend: November 2, 2024, at 12:00 AM to November 3, 2024, at 11:59 PM local time.
- Great League and Master Premier: November 6, 2024 to November 13, 2024
- Ultra League and Willpower Cup: November 13, 2024 to November 20, 2024
- Master League and Retro Cup: November 20, 2024 to November 27, 2024
- Great League, Ultra League, Master League, and Catch Cup (Great League Edition): November 27, 2024 to December 4, 2024
