All Pocket Monsters teased for Pokemon GO Halloween Part 2 in 2024
Pokemon GO Halloween Part 2 is popular for introducing creatures with event-themed costumes, and players wait in anticipation every year to see if any of their favorite Pocket Monsters gets a spooky outfit. On October 18, 2024, the official X handle of the game posted an image teasing the costumed Pocket Monsters to be featured in this year's Pokemon GO Halloween Part 2 event.
While there were some identifiable classics, there were also some fascinating new silhouettes. This article will talk about all the creatures you can expect to see wearing spooky costumes during Pokemon GO Halloween Part 2 when the event kicks off on October 28, 2024.
What costumed creatures can you expect to see in Pokemon GO Halloween Part 2 in 2024?
The image shows the silhouettes of six creatures wearing costumes. They are as follows:
- Witch Hat Pikachu
- Spooky Festival Pumpkaboo
- Halloween Piplup
- Spooky Festival Vulpix
- Rowlet wearing a hat
- Froakie wearing a witch's hat
Of these, Witch Hat Pikachu was introduced back in 2017, Halloween Piplup came out in 2021, and Spooky Festival Vulpix and Spooky Festival Pumpkaboo were part of the 2022 event. Moreover, the latter three of these four were available during the Halloween event in 2023.

The silhouettes of Rowlet wearing a hat and Froakie wearing a witch's hat are the most intriguing, as these are creatures that have not received spooky costumes before. While there hasn't been an official confirmation from Niantic, recent Pokemon GO datamine reports have revealed that it is indeed Rowlet and Froakie that will receive the Halloween favors in 2024.
The datamined assets also show that Halloween Rowlet and Froakie will be released in their shiny forms during the event. To make things even better, Rowlet can evolve into Datrix and Decidueye without losing the costume. The same applies to Froakie evolving into Frogadier and Greninja.

The animation of these articles being thrown out followed by the spooky face that appears from the ground, exactly mimics Gigantamax Gengar's G-Max Move from the main series games, Max Terror. The release was also more or less confirmed by the same datamine reports that showed the costumed Rowlet and Froakie line.
