Pokemon GO Battle Weekend for the Max Out update kicks off at 12 am local time on November 2 and ends at 11:59 pm local time on November 3, 2024. During this event, the number of sets you can play in a day is increased from five to 20, which means you can compete in a total of 100 battles each day.

Apart from additional battles, you will also get 4x Stardust rewards from win rewards (the first tier of the reward track). The Pocket Monsters obtained from the third tier of the track will also have a wider variance in their Attack, Defense, and HP stats — making them more suited for the GO Battle League.

The Great League, Ultra League, and Master League will be available during the Pokemon GO Battle Weekend Max Out update, giving you various choices as to which basket you want to put your eggs in.

Purchase the GO Battle League Timed Research: This limited-time Research quest will be available in your shop till the event lasts. For US$1 (or equivalent regional pricing) it offers 30,000 Stardust, three Rare Candy, three Rare Candy XL, and one Star Piece.
Prepare a strategy: Winning is the key to making the most out of the event. Select the format you are most comfortable with and build a team for the format. You can check out our team-building guides for the Great League, Ultra League, and Master League for help.
Pop open a Star Piece and use Dialga's Roar of Time Adventure effect: The event already provides 4x the amount of Stardust wins. You can increase this to 6x for at least 30 minutes. The additional duration will depend on the amount of Dialga Candy you are willing to expend.
Utilize the Premium track: The Pokemon GO Battle Weekend is the perfect occasion to use your Premium Battle Passes to take part in trainer battles. This already provides 2x Stardust. Using it in tandem with a Star Piece will give you 12x Stardust.

Apart from the Pokemon GO Battle Weekend Paid Timed Research, there is also a free quest that will give you three free Rare Candy, one Elite Fast TM, and a pair of Allister-style Shoes for your avatar. Complete this to earn 30,000 XP as well.
