Best tips and tricks for Pokemon GO Gigantamax Max Battles
Pokemon GO Gigantamax Max Battles are the most difficult fights in the game so far—by a large margin. They started at 10 am local time on October 27, 2024, with the debut of Gigantamax Kanto starters. More such creatures will be added to the game with time. However, a thing to note is that these will be uphill battles and will require a substantial amount of preparation.
This article covers the best tips and tricks that will help you find success when you challenge Pokemon GO Gigantamax Max Battles.

Things to keep in mind before challenging Pokemon GO Gigantamax Max Battles
1) Use only super-effective counters that resist incoming attacks
While neutral counters might have done the trick with tier-one and tier-three Max Battle bosses, you should only use super-effective attacks to beat Gigantamax bosses.

Gigantamax bosses also hit harder than anything else in the game. Unless you have top counters that resist the Power Spot boss' Charged Attacks, you will be obliterated in one or two moves. Unlike raids, where you had the option to revive your attackers, Max Battles do not give you that liberty.

2) Level up your Dynamax Pokemon
Gigantamax battles are unforgiving. Therefore, you must level up your Dynamax Pokemon to at least level 40 (preferably even 45 or 50, if you can expend the Candy XL) to stand a chance.
Additionally, you should also upgrade your Max Moves (particularly the attacking one and Max Spirit). These are crucial resource investments as the Power Spot boss takes hits very well and strikes back with massive force.

3) Join your local community
Try to find out about local Community Ambassadors through the Campfire app and get as many people as you can to come together for these fights. This will ensure you have the manpower you require to take down Pokemon GO Gigantamax Max Battles.
While the official recommendation states 10 - 40 players are needed, community reports have suggested that well over 30 players are necessary to take down the beasts. Additionally, signing in with your Community Ambassador will give you 800 Max Particles for free.
4) Have dedicated Max Spirit users
One of the key strategies is to have dedicated Max Spirit users in your squad when you challenge Pokemon GO Gigantamax Max Battles. Ideally, there should be 1-2 players who use only Max Spirit in their Dynamax turns to heal up their teammates's attackers. This applies to every group of four as the healing doesn't apply to members outside the subgroups.
