How to solo defeat Dedenne in Pokemon GO 3-star raids

If you want to solo defeat Dedenne in Pokemon GO 3-star raids, you will need a team of counters that can deal significant damage to the creature by exploiting its type weaknesses. A Raid Boss of this caliber is easy to beat on your own. However, you must make sure you have the right party so that it takes you less time to do so.

Dedenee is an Electric- and Fairy-type Pocket Monster in the game, meaning it is weak to Poison- and Ground-type attacks. Dedenne is set to return in The Festival of Lights 2024 via 3-star raids. The event will start on November 1, 2024, at 10:00 am local time and end on November 4, 2024, at 8:00 pm local time.

Here is everything you need to know about defeating Dedenne in Pokemon GO raids.

As a dual-type creature, Dedenne in Pokemon GO is 160% weak to Ground- and Poison-type moves. You can teach these attacks to your counters so that you can inflict super-effective damage on the Pocket Monster.

The time limit to take down the 3-star Raid Boss is 180 seconds. You will not get extra time if you are unable to do so.

Focus on creating a team of powerful counters to beat Dedenne in Pokemon GO. The best ones for the job are Mega and Shadow Pokemon with Legendary, Mythical, Ultra Beast, or pseudo-Legendary status. Some examples are Primal Groudon, Shadow Rhyperior, Shadow Excadrill, Therian Forme Landorus, and Mega Garchomp.

When these species are included in the unit for Dedenne 3-star raids, you can defeat the creature with them. One of the benefits of using these critters over others is that you will have extra time in your hand to search for Shiny Dedenne. Shiny Dedenne is available to encounter by defeating raids.

You should note that Dedenne in Pokemon GO will use the following Fast and Charged Moves in 3-star battles:

  • Thunder Shock - 4 damage
  • Tackle - 5 damage
  • Discharge - 65 damage
  • Parabolic Charge - 70 damage
  • Play Rough - 90 damage

Except for the Fast Move Tackle, Dedenne enjoys the effect of STAB, an in-game effect that deals 1.2x damage and activates automatically when the Pokemon and moves are of the same elemental typing. This means you must dodge incoming Charged Attacks launched at you, as you will not be able to tolerate the onslaught in the arena for much longer.

As a final note, you will want to defeat Dedenne in weather that increases its battle power. Due to the Weather Boost effect, this Raid Boss can become a powerful entity in Rain or Cloudy weather. Therefore, make sure you take the creature down in these particular weather conditions to find high IV Dedenne.
