Is the Daily PokeCoin Bounty Part 2 ticket worth it in Pokemon GO?

On October 1, 2024, Pokemon GO will begin offering a new Daily PokeCoin Bounty Part 2 ticket that, when purchased, will last from October 3, 2024, at 10:00 am until November 3, 2024, at 11:59 pm local time. The ticket costs $4.99 USD (or the equivalent in your country), but is it worth the cost? Based on the bonuses and rewards, the cost is well worth spending on this ticket.

Compared to many other Pokemon GO tickets that only provide bonuses or research during events, the Daily PokeCoin Bounty Part 2 ticket offers great bonuses for a month straight. This is especially true if you're hoping to level up or you need some PokeCoins to spend in the in-game shop.

For an entire month, you can enjoy the following benefits once you've purchased the Pokemon GO Daily PokeCoin Bounty Part 2 ticket:

  • Access to a bonus daily Field Research Tasks that offers 20 PokeCoins when completed.
  • Triple XP for your first Pokemon catch of the day.
  • Triple XP for your first PokeStop spin of the day.
  • Open up to 50 gifts per day.
  • Collect up to 150 gifts per day from PokeStops and gyms.
  • Up to 40 gifts can be held in your item bag at a time.

In addition to these bonuses, you'll gain access to a Timed Research questline. This set of research tasks, once completed, will offer the following rewards, though keep in mind that they must be claimed before November 2, 2024, at 11:59 pm local time:

  • 200 bonus PokeCoins
  • 15,000 XP
  • 15,000 Stardust

For the price of essentially $5 USD, players will get hundreds of PokeCoins (if they take advantage of their daily Field Research). They will also gain access to thousands of XP for their trainer level, as well as the ability to collect more gifts and send them to friends. This will yield even more experience gains while also improving friendship levels with your fellow players.

Throw in the 15,000 Stardust from the Timed Research, and the value is spectacular. Ordinarily, $4.99 USD wouldn't get you much more than 600 PokeCoins, but this ticket provides over 600 Pokecoins (approximately 640 if the daily Field Research is finished each day) while also throwing in extra XP and Stardust.

Increasing trainer levels is a way to get even more rewards, and Stardust is always needed for powering up Pokemon or teaching them new moves, trading, and more.

For effectively $5 USD or the equivalent in your country's currency, this ticket can be seen as a better alternative to purchasing 600 PokeCoins directly from the store. Sure, the coins take longer to get, but the added XP and Stardust bonuses can be a huge boost if you're struggling with your level or resources.
