The $5 Paid Timed Research will have event-exclusive branching Timed Research. The rewards that you can get from these include:

  • 3x Catch Candy
  • Event-themed Pokemon encounters. This includes the likes of Halloween Costume Froakie, Halloween Costume Rowlet, Pikachu wearing witch hat, Morpeko, and Spiritomb.
  • You can choose one of two new avatars - Morpeko Onesie in Full Belly Mode or Hangry Mode.

Morpeko and the event-themed onesies are exclusive to this tier and are not available in the less-expensive variant.

If you purchase the $2 Paid Timed Research, you will get access to special Timed Research. However, these are not branching like the more expensive variant and will offer the following encounters as rewards:

  • Pikachu wearing a witch hat
  • Vulpix wearing a Spooky Festival costume
  • Gengar wearing a Spooky Festival costume
  • Piplup wearing a Halloween Mischief costume
  • Drifblim wearing a Halloween Mischief costume
  • Froakie wearing a Pokemon Halloween costume
  • Pumpkaboo wearing a Spooky Festival costume
  • Rowlet wearing a Pokemon Halloween costume

Although this ticket variant costs less, it offers a wider range of event-themed Pokemon you can catch during this time.


The Pokemon GO Halloween Part 2 Paid Timed Research event tickets will be only available in the in-game shop till November 2, 2024, at 8:00 PM local time. Furthermore, all tasks and their rewards expire on November 3, 2024, at 8:00 PM local time. You will need to complete the tasks and claim all rewards before this, or you will lose them forever.
