Pokemon Gen 10 will reportedly launch on Switch 1 and 2, according to Game Freak leaks

The October 11 Game Freak leaks have shared plenty of information, including hints about Pokemon Gen 10 and a Pokemon multiplayer/battle-focused title. The Pokemon Company has barely shared much information regarding Pokemon Legends Z-A, with nothing being discussed regarding the titles that will herald Gen 10.

As with any such leaks, it is always advised to take the information with a pinch of salt and wait for the developers to share official information. Nevertheless, this is all we currently know from the leaks.

Pokemon Gaia and Pokemon Synapse might be what the future of the franchise holds

Pokemon Gen 10 - "Gaia"

According to @CentroLeaks, the Gen 10 Pokemon game is codenamed "Gaia" and is being developed for "Ounce" (codename for Nintendo Switch 2). Regarding Gen 10's availability, @necrolipe mentioned that it will be there for both Switch 1 and Switch 2. On the topic, @CentroLeaks stated:

"We can confirm the leak includes a mention of a Switch 1 version of Pokémon Gaia. So yes, they are at least testing it on Switch 1, whether they will end up releasing it we'll have to see."

Another well-known Pokemon leaker, @Riddler_Khu, mentioned cryptically "too much water" concerning the Gen 10 games. The community quickly started noting that Greece might be a potential region for the next mainline series. For context, the Gen 9 Paldea region was based on the Iberian Peninsula.

The Gen 10 titles will reportedly be Pokemon K and Pokemon N. While that doesn't reveal much, fans will surely come up with wild theories to connect all of the leaked information together in a coherent narrative.

Pokemon multiplayer/battle-focused game - "Synapse"

@CentroLeaks mentioned that Game Freak is collaborating with ILCA to develop a multiplayer/battle-focused Pokemon title, featuring the codename "Synapse." While they initially thought that the rumored game would be an MMO, they quickly clarified that wasn't the case.
