Pokemon GO To The Max Special Research reset error is resolved with affected trainers due compensation

Those who were affected by the Pokemon GO To The Max Special Research reset error will have Step 1 and Step 2 of the questline automatically completed in compensation. In its latest communication, Niantic stated on @NianticHelp X channel:

"We have resolved the issue that reset some Trainers’ progress on the “To the Max!” Special Research. Affected Trainers will have sections 1 and 2 of the Special Research completed for them automatically."

The issue with the Dynamax Special Research saw trainers suddenly getting a 'Streak Broken' prompt in the lower-right corner of the screen. This was followed by the To The Max Special Research resetting itself to Step 1, with any progress made by the player in that questline being deleted.

Niantic acknowledged the issue on September 5 and said they were investigating the matter.

Meanwhile, the GO All Out event is currently ongoing in Pokemon GO. Trainers can participate in the event-themed Collection Challenges and Field Research tasks.

Furthermore, the Max Out Seasonal Research Galar Calling Special Research is also available for trainers, focusing on the three Galar first partner Pokemon.

The Dynamax mechanic has also made its debut in Pokemon GO, with the much-anticipated Gen VIII battle mechanic bringing along quite a few 'mons already. The list currently includes Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Wooloo, and Skwovet.
