The Pokemon GO December 2024 Community Day will take place from 2 - 5 pm local time on December 21 and 22, 2024. It will feature all the creatures that had their Community Day in 2024 and 2023. Besides this, you will also get access to the bonuses common for this type of event, which include highly boosted shiny odds.

Apart from this, any of these 12 creatures can appear in the wild from 9 am - 9 pm local time during the event days. However, the boosted shiny odds will only apply to the creatures' 2 - 5 pm spawns on the designated day.

Additionally, for the last 10 minutes of every hour from 2 - 5 pm local time on December 21 and 22, players can find the following critters in the wild:

  • Cyndaquil
  • Bagon
  • Beldum

The following Legacy moves will be available during the Pokemon GO December 2024 Community Day from 9 am on December 21 to 9 pm on December 22, 2024:

  • Poliwrath: Evolve Poliwhirl (Poliwag’s Evolution) to get a Poliwrath that knows the Fast Attack Counter.
  • Politoed: Evolve Poliwhirl (Poliwag’s Evolution) with a King’s Rock to get a Politoed that knows the Charged Attack Ice Beam.
  • Victreebel: Evolve Weepinbell (Bellsprout’s Evolution) to get a Victreebel that knows the Fast Attack Magical Leaf.
  • Rapidash and Galarian Rapidash: Evolve Ponyta or Galarian Ponyta to get a Rapidash or Galarian Rapidash that knows the Charged Attack Wild Charge.

Bonuses

The following bonuses will be in play during the Pokemon GO December 2024 Community Day:

  • 2× XP for catching Pokémon.
  • 2× Stardust for catching Pokémon.
  • 1/2 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event period.
  • 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
  • 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
  • Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
  • Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
  • One additional Special Trade can be made, for a maximum of two per day.*
  • Trades made during the event will require 50% less Stardust.

The last two Pokemon GO December 2024 Community Day bonuses will be active from 9 am - 9 pm local time on both days of the event. The remaining ones will benefit trainers only from 2 - 5 pm local time on the two days.
