Pokemon GO Galar Cup: Great League edition kicked off on October 1, 2024, at 1 pm PT and will be available till 1 pm PT on October 8, 2024. This is the specialty format's debut run and will be accompanied by the open Great League. The Galar Cup allows you to use Pocket Monsters from the Pokemon Sword and Shield Pokedex as long as they are at or under 1,500 CP. Note that this does not include any critters from the DLCs.
