Is Galarian Slowking good in Pokemon GO PvP and PvE?

Galarian Slowking in PvP

Galarian Slowking is a decent but not top-tier choice in PvP. Its Fast Move, Confusion, deals high damage with STAB, while Hex offers quicker energy gain but lacks STAB. Acid is less efficient even with STAB and is generally not recommended.

Among its Charged Moves, Surf is crucial due to its low energy cost, while Shadow Ball offers coverage against Ghost- and Psychic-types. Future Sight and Sludge Wave hit hard but require more energy. Galarian Slowking gained PvP viability with Surf, but it still lacks Poison Jab, limiting its Poison-type potential.

It performs best in formats where its resistances to Grass, Fairy, and Fighting types are useful, but faces competition from stronger alternatives like Jellicent.

Galarian Slowking in PvE

In raids and Gym battles, Galarian Slowking’s performance is underwhelming. While it has a better Attack and bulk than Galarian Slowbro, it doesn’t have the firepower to stand out as a raid counter.

In Gym defense, however, Galarian Slowking can hold its own. Its Poison/Psychic typing and decent bulk allow it to resist common attackers, especially Fighting-types. It may not be the top gym defender, but it can serve as a solid choice if you're looking for something a little different.
