Being a mono-Grass-type creature, Dynamax Grookey takes super-effective damage from Fire-, Flying-, Ice-, Poison-, and Bug-type attacks. The best picks for the fight would be creatures who know both Fast and Charged Attacks of these types.

Unlike many other PvE battles, having super-effective Fast Attacks is more important, as it determines the type of your Max Moves when in Dynamax Form.
