Pokemon GO Max Mondays: Everything you need to know
To draw more attention to Pokemon GO's new Max Battles, Niantic has released a new wave of weekly events known as Max Mondays. Taking place from 6 PM to 7 PM every Monday, players will notice an increase in a particular Max Raid Boss. With the first of these events starting in just a few hours, some players may want to know more about these Max Mondays.
Max Mondays aim to bring Max Battles to more players, similar to other events like Raid Hours or Raid Days. By increasing their chance to appear, Niantic is hoping more players will be able to get their hands on some Dynamax Pokemon. Here is everything we know so far about Pokemon GO's Max Mondays.
Everything to know about Pokemon GO's Max Mondays
Max Mondays are weekly events where a chosen Pokemon will appear more frequently in Max Battles. As of this writing, it would appear that Niantic only intends on adding One-Star Max Battles through Max Mondays, but this could change in the future as more Three-Star Max Battles are introduced.
These will be small-scale occasions that do not offer any major resource bonus multiplier like Spotlight Hours or Community Days. Given how events may be cut back for the winter season, Niantic may have implemented these Max Mondays to keep players invested as new content begins to slow.

Which Pokemon will be available during Pokemon GO's Max Mondays?
Niantic has revealed the schedule for Pokemon GO's Max Mondays until December 2nd. The first creature featured is Dynamax Charmander, the Fire-type starter from the Kanto region. Dynamax Charmander is coming on November 11th and can easily be taken down with Dynamax Blastoise or Inteleon.
Next, on November 18th, Niantic will release Dynamax Drilbur into the game. Being a new spawn at the time of this event, Dynamax Drilbur is included in an event that will be running at the time of next week's Max Monday. The Simply Groundbreaking event will run from November 15th until the 17th, with the Max Monday serving as a last call for those who missed the event.
On November 25th, Dynamax Bulbasaur will come to Pokemon GO. Much like Charmander, it was one of the first Dynamax Pokemon to come to the game, being the Grass-type starter from the Kanto region. Dynamax Metagross, Charizard and Cinderace are all great counters to bring to this fight.
Finally, December 2nd will be closing off the Kanto starter trio by bringing Dynamax Squirtle back to Pokemon GO. Thanks to its final evolution's pure Water typing and high defense stats, Squirtle has the potential to be one of the best tanks for Max Battles. Rillaboom and Venusaur have the advantage against Squirtle, so trainers should use them as counters..
