Is Zamazenta good in Pokemon GO PvP and PvE?
Zamazenta in Pokemon GO PvP
Zamazenta is one of the least effective box legendaries in Pokemon GO PvP. Its lack of strong coverage doesn't let it shine in the Master League meta. It cannot even do too well as a Fighting-type attacker as it lacks solid STAB Fast Attack options. While Close Combat is a strong move, it debuffs the user, making it even more difficult for Zamazenta to stick around the battlefield for long.
Perhaps the release of the Crowned Shield form and its signature move, Behemoth Bash, will help Zamazenta find some footing in the Master League.

Zamazenta in Pokemon GO PvE
Zamazenta can be an effective Fighting-type attacker, with Metal Claw and Close Combat. However, there's a bunch of critters that outclass it. Therefore, you will only be using it when you don't have any other options—which is never a good thing for a Pokemon.
