To celebrate the Halloween season, Game Freak is hosting special Gengar Tera Raids in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The raids have an increased chance of dropping large amounts of different candies. EXP Candies of all tiers and Rare Candies are valuable items for casual and competitive players alike, as they allow trainers to easily level up their Pokemon.

However, these raids may prove to be a bit difficult for inexperienced players, or those who have never participated in high-difficulty raids before. Gengar's Tera Type for this fight will be Ghost. This means players should use Dark and Ghost-type moves against the critter. This Raid Boss will have access to a bunch of debuffing moves like Acid Spray and Mystical Fire and will focus more on debuffing the raid party rather than doing the most damage possible.

Gengar hosts a glass cannon stat spread, making it fairly easy to take down with heavy burst damage. With just a couple of stat-boosting moves, players can easily give their damage dealers the support to take down this boss in one shot.

These items can be helpful for players looking to quickly level up their creatures to get them prepared for competitive play, or they can be used to max out a Pokemon's level to make it the best PvE battler it can be.
