Magearna (Draining Kiss, Dazzling Gleam, Reflect, Metal Sound), Sylveon (Calm Mind, Draining Kiss, and two other relevant moves), and Primarina (Calm Mind, Draining Kiss, Moonblas, Reflect) are some of the best options to counter Rayquaza.

Scarlet and Violet trainers will need to have the Poke Portal News updated to its latest version to participate in the ongoing event. A Nintendo Switch Online membership is also needed if they wish to battle Shiny Rayquaza along with other players over the internet.
