5) Bunnelby

Bunnelby, the early-route rodent Pocket Monster for the Kalos region, evolves into one of the best creatures players can use in Pokemon GO's Great League.

Diggersby is a Normal- and Ground-type species (the same combination as Ursaluna). It has strong defense and stamina stats, which works in its favor in the game's real-time battle system.

Having access to Ground-type attacks, Diggersby is also a great counter to most of the Steel- and Electric-type creatures that can give players a hard time in the Great League.

4) Hoppip

Hoppip is a Grass- and Flying-type creature that will be available during Pokemon GO's Harvest Festival. The event brings a large number of the Pocket Monster to the game, which will be helpful for players wanting to use its final evolution, Jumpluff, in the Great League.

Thanks to this family's low combat power maximum, Hoppip can enter Great League fully evolved and close to its max power, giving it more stats to work with compared to most participants in the competitive tier. It also has valuable access to Fairy-type attacks, which is a great coverage option.

3) Miltank

Miltank is an incredibly bulky Normal-type stamina tank that can be as annoying to take down in Pokemon GO as it is in the main series. While other creatures on this list are only popular in the Great League, Miltank is usable in both the Great and Ultra League tiers of play.

Not only does Miltank have great stamina, but it also has access to tons of coverage options on the account of it being a pure Normal-type creature. Having both Thunderbolt and Ice Beam for potential charged attacks allows it to hit every Pocket Monster in the game for neutral damage or better.

2) Zigzagoon

While its Galarian variant is much more useful thanks to its additional Dark typing and evolution, the standard Zigzagoon can still be beneficial for many players in the Great League. Only requiring 50 candies to evolve, it is relatively cheap compared to other options available during the Harvest Festival.

Much like Miltank, Linoone is also a pure Normal-type creature, giving trainers access to some interesting coverage choices. Linoone has access to Shadow Claw as a fast attack, as well as Thunder, Dig, and Grass Knot for potential charged attacks. While Linoone is decent in the Great League, it can excel in certian Premier formats.

1) Oddish

Oddish is a Grass- and Poison-type creature that players can encounter in the wild during Pokemon GO's Harvest Festival. It can be a bit costly to fully invest in, as it needs to evolve three times. Its branching evolutions can also make it a bit complicated for newer players to understand.

However, if trainers manage to get enough resources to fully evolve an Oddish, Bellossom is a better option compared to Vileplume. While it is still not a top contender in either the Great or Ultra League, its ability to spam Leaf Blade can make it a valuable choice for some matchups.
