"Got jumped and still ate them up"- Netizens react as video of Terri Joe aka Psyiconic getting into a fight goes viral
Psyiconic, also known as Kelon Campbell, has been trending on social media ever since a video surfaced showing what appears to be him being allegedly assaulted by a group of individuals. Over the years, Campbell has gained recognition for his TikTok videos, where he played a homophobic character called Terri Joe.
Notably, the clip of the alleged assault went viral on November 9, 2024, and it was also shared through the official page of Pop Base on X. The caption of the social media post claimed that the incident reportedly happened at Shawty Bae's birthday party. However, an official confirmation of this is currently awaited.
The video starts with four people allegedly attacking Psyiconic at a staircase. Campbell is seen trying to hit back but is eventually taken to the ground, and an anonymous individual rushes to stop the fight.
At the same time, two bodyguards also run to the spot to break the fight and take Campbell away, with one of them holding him in his hand. While coming down the staircase with the guards, Kelon speaks to a woman in the background, who was heard laughing, as he said with a smile:
"How you doing?"
The reasons for the fight have yet to be made official, and Campbell has not shared any statement about the same so far. Meanwhile, netizens took to the comments section of Pop Base's social media post to share their reactions to the clip, with one of them writing:
"Got jumped and still ate them up idkr!!!!"
People were spotted praising Psyiconic for the way he reacted after the fight.

A user refused to believe that the fight was intentional, along with another person supporting Psyiconic.
"I stand with Terri Joe," an X reaction reads.
"This gotta be staged because aint no way," a user mentioned.
Psyiconic has accumulated a huge fanbase for his appearances as Terri Joe
Campbell spent his childhood in Humble, Texas, and his fictional character on social media, Terri Joe, has made him a popular face over the years. The character can be spotted getting involved in different activities in TikTok videos, and she started getting recognition last year.
Terri Joe has been featured on various podcasts and two music videos, including a remix of One Margarita by Casa Di, Steve Terrell, and That Chick Angel. While speaking to OutSmart magazine in May 2023, Psyiconic elaborated on the character by saying:
"All of my characters come from archetypes of people that I enjoy on TV. Terri comes from a show that I used to watch, and still watch to this day, called True Blood. It's a vampire show with some religious and racial elements."
Kelon Campbell also addressed his experience on TikTok by saying he likes to be a part of Live sessions since he gets to talk to a random person. Campbell has kept his personal life away from the limelight, and he referred to the same, stating that his life is normal where he meets people and they click pictures with him.
Kelon added that he becomes "super-nervous" when people recognize him in different locations and added:
"People talk to me and recognize me because they see me on the internet and I'm in everyone's face, but I'm actually super-shy in person at first. TikTok is my job now; I don't have to work a typical job, [so that's] a big difference."
Psyiconic has been active on TikTok since 2020 and has accumulated around 3 million followers on the short video platform. He also keeps in touch with everyone through Instagram, where the timeline is full of pictures of him posing as Terri Joe.
