Alan Plummer - the husband of the late TV presenter, Erin Jayne Plummer - was found dead on Sunday, November 10. Plummer's body was found on the northern Sydney's beaches in Freshwater.

Plummer's death comes two years after Erin Jayne committed su*cide in 2022, leaving their children orphaned. The couple shared three daughters, who were described as "mini versions" of Erin by her father, Peter.

While an official report on Alan Plummer's death has not been released, sources suggest it may be a suspected case of self-harm, according to GB News. Plummer, the former director of Shine VIP Tours Australia PTY LTD, had sold his four-bedroom family home in Freshwater several months before his death. The couple had owned the property since 2002, purchasing it for $675,000, as reported by Mirror UK.

At Erin Jayne Plummer's funeral in 2022, her eldest as well as her youngest daughter spoke about what they were going through, as reported by LBC.

The eldest one, who was 15 at the time, said she still couldn't believe her mother was gone, and that their "family of three girls" would grow up without their mum.

Continuing, she added that Plummer was selfless and loved by everyone. She also said that the 42-year-old gave her everything to take the three girls to "40 activities each week." She also appeared to regret not knowing her mother's heart was in so much pain, lastly adding:

"Mum, I hope heaven treats you better than we ever could. She's not ours anymore but we are hers forever."

Meanwhile, Plummer's youngest daughter called Erin Jayne Plummer "the best person ever" at the funeral. She shared that she and her mother made a great team, who was "the key of the whole galaxy and world and all of the country to me."

She also shared that three of her favorite activities with her mother were morning walks, cooking, and having "lots of hugs and kisses."

Erin Jayne Plummer was popular for being the presenter on Studio 10 and had also appeared on other shows, including The Morning Show and Totally Active TV. The presenter started her career when she was scouted at Sydney's Manly Beach and cast in a tourism campaign that aired on NBC in America.

Erin Jayne Plummer also presented on Aerobics Oz Style - an instructional aerobics TV series - for six years. The show ran from 1982 to 2005 and was broadcast in over 80 countries, with a global audience surpassing 40 million.

The 42-year-old had earned the nickname of the Danoz girl for hosting advertorials, where she promoted a wide range of products, from steam mops to massage chairs.

Sarah Harris, a colleague of Erin's, penned an emotional tribute to her on social media following her death. Calling her "a gorgeous human inside and out," Harris mentioned how she was a friendly and familiar face on Australian television, and brightened up the country's mornings with her "bubbly personality and megawatt smile" for over two decades.

Sarah went on to highlight Plummer's achievements, adding:

"She represented Australia in synchronised swimming and even surf life-saving. There is no question Erin Jayne was a high achiever and certainly a gold medal mum to her three young girls."

Erin's su*cide came after she battled mental health problems. Following Erin Jayne Plummer's death, a GoFundMe campaign was launched to help the Plummer family "keep the household running," which had raised over $28,000 at the time.


A NSW Police Force spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia of Alan Plummer's untimely death:

"Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner regarding the death of a 49-year-old man at Freshwater on Sunday."

No other details surrounding Plummer's death have surfaced yet.
