However, further details on the circumstances leading to Jamey's arrest are yet to be officially revealed by the authorities. The charges were mentioned on the Mobile Patrol app and although his bond is now set at $5,000, there is no information on where Jamey is being held right now.

Notably, the news of the legal issue comes around a week after the arrival of Jamey Johnson's latest album, Midnight Gasoline. As per Billboard, Jamey said during a conversation on Zoom that he has been touring and writing for the last few years. Jamey said that he did not write unless he was willing to do it and continued:

"Roger told Willie [Nelson] years ago that if you're not writing, it's because your well is empty, and you need to go out there and live some and fill up your well. And that's what Willie told me. I think it just took me a long time to get my well full."

Jamey Johnson has accumulated a lot of wealth from his singing career over the years

The Enterprise Alabama native has impressed the audience with his flawless work in his albums for more than ten years. His earnings are a result of his success in the world of music and he has collaborated with multiple record labels such as BNA.

While speaking to Country Music Television in 2006, Jamey Johnson recalled his childhood by saying that he had the opportunity to attend only one concert of June Jam since his parents never allowed him to visit such events at the time. He further stated:

"I got to see Alan Jackson play that night and some other guys. It was a remarkable experience for me – wanting to play and sing and seeing these guys up there doing that stuff for a living and turning on the crowd the way they did."

He said that his father taught him to play the guitar and he became passionate about music. Although he joined Jacksonville State University for further studies, he dropped out and enrolled in the Marine Corps Reserves for around eight years.

Jamey Johnson played for local country bands and had once opened for David Allan Coe at a bar in Montgomery. He started working on demos of various songs after arriving in Nashville in 2000 and later signed a contract with the record label, BNA. However, his debut album They Call Me Country was released before that.

The 49-year-old had only one album with BNA in his credits, titled The Dollar. It remained at the top of the Billboard charts. He then joined another company called Mercury Nashville and has released four more albums so far, starting with The Guitar Song in 2010.

Jamey Johnson is also popular for his singles such as High Cost of Living and In Color, and has been featured on the projects of artists like Sammy Kershaw. Furthermore, he has been nominated for various times at the Grammy Awards.
