"Because of the timing of it all, there's some connection there": Dame Dash questions if Diddy and Abercrombie CEO's arrest are related

American entrepreneur Dame Dash recently appeared in an interview for the America Nu Network’s YouTube channel on October 28 and talked about whether Diddy and Abercrombie's CEO's arrest were related.

When asked how he felt about the Abercrombie lawsuit and whether he thought it had any ties with the rapper, Dame Dash said:

“It could be a scenario where because of the timing of it all, that, you know, there's some connection there. Its hard not to wonder...”

The interview came a month after many male and female victims accused Sean "Diddy" Combs of s*xually abusing them, and six days after Mike Jeffries, the former CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch, was accused of running a covert, global s*x trafficking operation that involved transporting young male models to different places.

In the latest episode of the America Nu Network podcast, Dame Dash also talked about the impact of Lil Durk's recent arrest and the present state of hip-hop. In addition, he further discussed Diddy's arrest and the Abercrombie & Fitch incident.

When he was asked if he thinks there is any connection between Diddy's arrest and the accusations against the former CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch, Dame Dash said:

“It's hard not to wonder…Well, that's definitely going to be something that's going to be spoken about. And then I was like, well, maybe did they do it?... So it doesn't seem like they're only messing with Puff… Cause he's black.”

Here, he referred to the incident in which the ex-CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch Mike Jeffries, was arrested on October 22 for allegedly trafficking male models for s*x parties. He continued and said that if everyone’s talking about it, maybe there’s a truth behind it and maybe both Jeffries and Diddy are guilty.

He then went on to speculate that there might be a connection between Diddy and Jeffries and said:

“And then the timing of everything, like I said, it definitely invokes some degree of, like, is there a connection? And if they had found baby oil in there, then I'd been like, okay, this is definitely the baby oil crew.”

Here he referred to the fact that when the FBI raided Diddy’s Miami and LA houses in March 2024, they found 1,000 bottles of baby oil.

As per KIRO 7’s October 2 article, 60 men and 60 women were allegedly abused by Diddy. Additionally, 25 of these people were underage when the alleged abuse began in 1991.

On the other hand, Dash’s interview came six days after the FBI and federal prosecutors in Brooklyn arrested Mike Jeffries, his partner Matt Smith, and a third man, Jim Jacobson, on October 22 as part of a criminal s*x trafficking investigation, as per the ABC 7 NY's October 23 report.

As per a Business Times report from the same day, Jeffries, Smith, and Jacobson allegedly groomed prospective male models to attend s*x parties with drugs and alcohol by using a "casting couch" technique.

The former CEO reportedly denied the charges when he was arraigned in the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York on Friday, October 25. Jeffries further signed a $10 million bail bond using a New York property as collateral.

However, while he awaits trial, Jeffries will be under electronic monitoring and house arrest. According to the same source, he is also not allowed to get in touch with his co-accused, witnesses, or victims. Additionally, Judge Nusrat Choudhury will hear the next hearing on December 12.

On the other hand, the rapper is currently kept in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His next hearing is in May 2025.
