"F**k what I, Elon Musk, Beyoncé or Taylor Swift have to say" — YouTuber FaZe Banks explains why he is voting for Trump

Popular YouTuber FaZe Banks, aka Richard "Ricky" Bengston, showed his support for Republican supremo Donald Trump a day before the 2024 presidential election on Tuesday, November 5. He highlighted the alleged problems with Kamala Harris' candidature and why he thought the Republican nominee was better for the country.

Both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris have made efforts to win the confidence of social media influencers, to gain popularity among Gen Z voters this election cycle. While stars like Elon Musk, Kanye West, and Jake Paul have endorsed Trump, Kamala Harris has gotten the support of juggernauts like Taylor Swift, Oprah Winfrey, and Bruce Springsteen, among others.

On November 4, FaZe Banks, 33, took to X to explain the reasons that, according to him, make Donald Trump a more deserving candidate, compared to Kamala Harris. However, he implored people to make their own decisions and not get swayed by celebrity endorsements.

"Please whatever decision you make ultimately, just please make the decision to VOTE. Your own INFORMED decision. F**k what I, Elon Musk, Beyoncé or Taylor Swift have to say. At the end of the day we’re all rich and will be fine one way or another. Can you survive in an America where Milk is $20 a gallon? That’s the question to ask yourself," Banks tweeted.

FaZe Banks provided a comprehensive explanation for endorsing Donald Trump in his tweet on Monday. The Chief Operating Officer of the gaming group FaZe Clan announced that he had been a Democrat his entire life. However, Banks further opined that America under the tutelage of Donald Trump overshadows Joe Biden's America.

"We were tricked into believing if we voted for Trump last election we were bad people. Not again, at least not for me. Sorry. I’m looking strictly at the facts," continued Banks.

As per his tweet, the next generation of Americans would be "worse off" than the present generation because of uncontrolled inflation. The 33-year-old asserted that inflation is looming large under the leadership of Joe Biden, with the US Dollar losing nearly 20% of its buying power in the last four years.

Thereafter, Banks turned to the highly debated topic of immigration policies in the United States.

"Illegal immigration’s gotten so bad that even the people furthest on the left have conceited to it being a major issue. You have Kamala Harris, in 2024, before GTA 6, talking about building a f**king wall at the southern border. You can’t make this sh*t up," wrote Banks.

He continued, writing:

"I remember vividly this being one of the lefts biggest talking points in pushing this “Trumps a racist” narrative before he was even elected. Now all the sudden 8 years and 10 million+ people crossing the border later, everyone’s on the same page? Now it’s a problem? It’s just one of many examples demonstrating the democratic party’s glaring hypocrisy."

The Middle Eastern crisis and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine formed the next talking point for FaZe Banks. The YouTuber hailed Donald Trump as the first President in recent American history to not have a single new war started during his tenure. Furthermore, he highlighted Trump's assassination attempts, describing them as "efforts to silence him."

The former President reportedly survived two assassination attempts during the 2024 presidential election campaign. On July 13, 2024, a man called Thomas Matthew Crooks fired shots at the former President during his speech near Butler, Pennsylvania. Although Trump survived with a bleeding right ear, one attendee was killed while two others were left injured.

Further, on September 15, a man named Ryan Wesley Routh was apprehended by the police after he was caught aiming at the former President with a rifle, while the latter was at the International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.

"JFK & Abraham Lincoln were murdered because they were atypical politicians that challenged the powers that be. America first. Food for thought," Banks stated while alluding to these events.

Finally, Banks asserted that the upcoming presidential election was the most important election during his lifetime. The YouTuber urged people to tune in to Joe Rogan's podcast featuring Elon Musk to know more about the same. He also alleged that the former President and his running mate JD Vance are always willing to answer questions on their candidature and policies, unlike Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

The results of the United States Presidential Election will be declared on Tuesday, November 5. However, people may not know the outcome unless either party secures a significant victory in most states, especially the so-called swing states, like North Carolina, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Georgia.
