Highlights of JD Vance's conversation with podcaster Joe Rogan

JD Vance didn't just talk about his favorite Netflix show on this lengthy interview with Joe Rogan. In the beginning, he spoke about transgender rights, where Vance was of the belief that individuals should play sports that match their gender identity. He added:

"I'm the father of a two-year-old daughter. I don't want her going into athletic competitions where I'm terrified she's gonna get bludgeoned to death because we're allowing a six-foot one male to compete with her in sports."

Elsewhere in the interview, Vance reacted on Joe Biden's remarks where the President suggested Trump supporters were "garbage." This remark prompted not just Republicans, but a few Democrats too, to criticize Biden. Vance referred to this and joked saying:

"After we win, I'm gonna be convinced that Joe Biden was trying to help us the whole time."

JD Vance further spoke about the time that an assassination attempt was made on Donald Trump. He told Rogan that he was in Ohio mini golfing with his family when the incident struck in July during a rally in Pennsylvania. Vance then mentioned:

"I actually thought they had killed him because when you first see the video he grabs his ear and then he goes down. I'm like, 'Oh my God, they just killed him.'"

The Presidential elections are around the corner and scheduled to be held on November 5, 2024.
