"I don't see my future being in the United States. Even if he’s only in office for 4 years, even if the anti-trans regulations magically don’t happen, the people who willingly voted this in are not going anywhere anytime soon," Wilson wrote.
She cited concerns about persistent anti-trans sentiments despite Trump's term being limited. Wilson, the daughter of Elon Musk and his first wife, Justine Wilson, has been vocal about their fraught relationship. She has accused her father of being absent and dismissive of her transition.
Musk, on the other hand, has attributed their estrangement to her being "killed by the woke mind virus," a term he frequently uses to criticize progressive ideologies. Wilson's announcement quickly gained traction, with many users sympathizing with her predicament.
