"I just don't like you walking around scot-free": Katt Williams calls Diddy a Demon, mentions Tupac as reason behind targeting him

Actor-comedian Katt Williams appeared on the latest edition of GQ and discussed various topics, including “the age of truth,” Dave Chappelle, and Sean “Diddy” Combs. While speaking about the rapper, the comic opined that the former had something to do with the death of the rapper Tupac Shakur.

During the interview, Katt Williams discussed Diddy allegedly being involved in Tupac's death in September 1996. The rapper was shot and killed while driving in Las Vegas. Former gang leader Duane “Keefe D” Davis was arrested and charged with one count of murder with a deadly weapon in 2023. However, in 2008, the Los Angeles Times alleged that Diddy’s associates were responsible for the shooting, which Combs has since denied.

Katt Williams addressed the same in the GQ story, titled "Katt Williams: The Man Who Opened a Portal." He said that Tupac was his “favorite artist” and that he felt that he was “kindred spirits” with him.

“So if I hear you responsible for knocking my n**ga off. I don’t give a f**k what job I end up being in, I don’t care how things go, if I can get a way to get you, that’s what I’m all about. I just don’t like you walking around scot-free,” Williams added.

Earlier this year, Tupac Shakur’s family hired New York attorney Alex Spiro to investigate the link between Diddy and Tupac. In October 2024, Tupac’s stepbrother Mopreme Shakur spoke to Piers Morgan about his weariness about Diddy likely being involved in the shooting.

When discussing Diddy claiming to not know about the attack, Mopreme said that he didn't think the statement was completely honest.

“My opinion is that it wasn’t a 100 honest statement. So again, we’ve got to find out what’s true and what’s false,” he said.

“Cause you a demon”: Katt Williams comes for Diddy in GQ interview

During his interview with GQ, one of Diddy’s biggest critics, Katt Williams called Combs a “demon.”

“Cause you a demon, and I know demons are powerful, but I know why they’re powerful, it’s cold spiritual warfare going on out here in the real world. And part of my job is to not lose focus on that,” the comedian said.

A few others who were mentioned during the actor-comedian’s interview with GQ include Rickey Smiley, Kevin Hart, Ludacris, and Cedric the Entertainer.

Earlier this year, the comedian stated that he refused to party with Diddy, and he also had the “receipts” to prove the same.

“Cause P. Diddy be wanting to party, and you got to tell him no. You got to tell him no! I did!” he said during a Club Shay Shay interview.

Williams also discussed having to turn down millions of dollars from Hollywood's bigwigs. He told Shannon Sharpe that he had to "turn down $50 million four times" to protect his integrity.

Diddy remains behind bars as he faces racketeering conspiracy, s*x trafficking, and pr*stitution charges. He is awaiting his May 5, 2025, trial date.
