"I’m alive and plan to stay that way" — George Santos explains why the allegedly "damning" story against Kamala Harris has not broken yet
Former Republican House Representative George Santos shared a tweet on X, on October 24, in which he alleged that Vice President Kamala Harris was present at Diddy's parties. In the tweet, he wrote:
"In the past I always wanted to go to a Diddy party or Jay-Z party… now I just want to ask VP Harris what they were like since she’s speculated to have been in attendance. 🤷🏻♂️"
When a netizen asked him if this was the October surprise he had previously talked about, Santos clarified that a news outlet was about to drop a "bombshell" report. However, since Santos made this claim, no report by any major news outlet has surfaced as of now.
Many X users took to the platform, to share their take on Santos' claims about a possible link between Kamala Harris and Diddy. Some even claimed that he just wanted some attention and, thus, decided to come up with such a tweet.
On October 25, George Santos shared another tweet clarifying why no report has been released yet. In the tweet, he wrote that the publication was ironing out all the details of the story with their legal team, which was allegedly causing the delay. He then wrote:
"They have had the video and story on their hands for 2 days and I know for a fact it does not take that long to clear a legal review… especially for them.."
Santos further mentioned that he was advised by his legal team to not speak about the issue any further as he did not "have access to the records." He further claimed that a "coverup campaign" was run back in 2020 at the request of President Joe Biden. While concluding the tweet, Santos wrote:
"I’m alive and plan to stay that way."
It is also worth noting that Ally Carter, who recently spoke up amid the Diddy scandal and claimed that she was trafficked, corroborated the claims made by Santos.
No official report has linked Kamala Harris to Diddy or his alleged crimes
This wasn't the first time that Kamala Harris' name got dragged in the middle of the Diddy scandal. In September, a photo of Harris and the music mogul went viral which raised multiple questions. It was, however, an altered image and Harris wasn't actually posing with Diddy in the photo.
In fact, the photo was clicked at a California event back in 2001, and it captured Harris with Montel Williams, whose image was altered to Combs' photo. The purpose of the event was to raise funds for multiple sclerosis research.
As of now, no report as per George Santos' claims has been released, and thus, it could be concluded that Harris' links with Diddy are more speculations as of now.
For the unversed, George Santos is an ex-politician as well as a convicted felon. According to BBC reports dated August 2024, Santos is facing years behind bars after he pleaded guilty to two federal counts of fraud. George Santos reportedly admitted to "wire fraud and aggravated identity theft for stealing the IDs of campaign staff and misusing campaign funds."
