"It makes Diddy’s 'freak offs' look like another ordinary party!" — Internet reacts to The Federalist co-founder Ben Domenechs' take on Matt Gaetz

The Federalist co-founder Benjamin Domenech's scathing attack on Rep. Matt Gaetz in his newsletter The Transom has caused a stir on the internet. Domenech called him a 's*x trafficking, drug addicted piece of sh*t' and warned other senators against confirming him as the attorney general.

On November 13, the soon-to-be President Donald Trump nominated Matt Gaetz to serve as his attorney general. The former House of Representatives member was the subject of a 2020 s*x trafficking probe that remains unresolved to this day.

He was being investigated by the House of Ethics over allegations that he contributed to the s*x trafficking of a 17-year-old. However, he resigned immediately after getting nominated by Trump, ending the probe.

Netizens were quick to hop on to X to share their views on the allegations made by Ben Domenech on Matt Gaetz. While some compared the allegations with the ones made against accused music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs, others defended the 42-year-old. Some popular comments on X are as follows:

"These allegations on Matt Gaetz are so bad, it makes Diddy’s “freak offs” look like another ordinary party!" wrote a fan on X.
"Trump was on Epstein’s flight logs several times and also there are 70+ public photos of Trump and Epstein together. It’s not a real shocker that pedos hire other pedos for their team," another commented.
"Based on that review, I’m guessing Ben Domenech is a P-Diddy party attendee and he is concerned about the McCain family dirt that will be uncovered with an investigation into the DCMafia John McCain was a card carrying member of!," one user opined.

Others were critical of Ben Domenech instead, slamming him for his statement.

"None of your posts about Gaetz this far have talked about his political record, policy stances, experience (or lack thereof)," one commented.
"Reads like a teenage girl writing about the boy who won’t give her the time of day. Sorry old guard republicans, we don’t care anymore," another opined.
"All we ever hear in response to accusations against democrats is "unfounded, baseless conspiracy theory", but we're all just expected to accept all the insane shit they constantly spew about Republicans with zero evidence?" one user wrote on X.
"What's the best source for a breakdown of what he's been accused of and the status of those accusations? This guy has a vibe about him that I have a strong aversion to. But, I know that the legacy media propaganda machine can twist and deceive, so I'd like to hear the details," another commented.

One netizen compared Ben Domenech's take with a Taylor Swift song.

"Oh man, sick burns dude! Totally pwned him! I heard his momma is also so fat. That reads like a Taylor Swift song written by a teenager. What does “stale Astroglide” smell like and how would Ben know? I thought we were adults," the user wrote on X.
"This is just too outrageous to be true. Gaetz was admittedly my least favorite of Trump’s appointments but I can understand how he wants to ensure absolute loyalty after his many persecutions by the justice system," one fan inferred on X.
