"It's actually disrespectful to call it Brat Supper" — Internet calls out Nicholas Alexander Chavez for dancing while dressed as Jesus

More about the Apple TikTok dance trend as Nicholas Alexander Chavez comes under fire

After Charli XCX released her summer hit album Brat, a dance to the song Apple, created by New York-based actor and content creator Kelley Heyer, went viral on social media. In an interview with The Guardian, Heyer shared that she created the dance “on a whim.”

The lyrics read:

“I think the apple’s rotten right to the core/ From all the things passed down from all the apples coming before/ I split the apple down symmetrical lines/ And what I find is kinda scary/ Makes me just wanna drive.”

Although the Brat album is filled with party essentials that discuss alcohol, debauchery, and drugs, the Apple song deals with serious topics. Kelley explained:

“It’s a song about generational trauma, and I turned it into a TikTok dance.”
