“She’s lying” — Donald Trump disputes Kamala Harris’ McDonald’s summer job as he joins the fryer at a Pennsylvania drive-thru
With the elections around the corner, Donald Trump showed up at the McDonald's in Pennsylvania for a quick shift on Sunday, October 20, 2024. As he handed fries and burgers to the customers, he accused Kamala Harris of lying about working at the chain. From the drive-thru window, the former President was heard saying:
“I’ve now worked at McDonald’s for 15 minutes more than Kamala.”
As Donald Trump wore the McDonald’s apron over his clothes, he spoke to the press and claimed:
"She’s lyin’ Kamala, that’s why. But let’s not talk about that. It’s an amazing business, it’s an amazing country, and we’re gonna make America greater than ever before.”
While Trump’s statement continues to make headlines, the former President and a contestant in the upcoming elections did not offer any proof for his statement. For the unversed, the statement by Donald came after Harris previously claimed that she had worked at McDonald's while she was in her college years.

While Donald Trump accused Harris of lying that she worked at McDonald’s in the past, on the other hand, Harris made the claims multiple times in various interviews since 2019.
In fact, she uploaded a video on May 6, 2024, on Instagram where she tells the interviewers that she worked as a cashier at the fast food chain.
She said:
“Yes, I did work at McDonald’s when I was in school. I worked register, drive-thru and grill.”
Furthermore, as both Trump and Harris contest for the seat of the next President of the country, the former President of the United States of America has slammed the current Vice President multiple times recently. Speaking to the crowd in Erie, Pennsylvania in September, Donald lashed out at Biden and Harris and stated:
“Crooked Joe Biden became mentally impaired — sad — but Lyin’ Kamala Harris, honestly, I believe she was born that way. There’s something wrong with Kamala and I just don’t know what it is, but there is definitely something missing.”
He continued by stating how the nation’s immigration system has been “mismanaged,” and called Harris “stupid.” Donald said:
“She’s a stupid person. Stupid person."
As per The Washington Post, Donald has even used other derogatory words for Harris in the past, including “dumb,” “mentally unfit,” and an “extremely low IQ person.”
It is worth noting that the citizens of the United States of America will cast their votes on November 5, 2024, to choose the next President of the country. For the unversed, the current President, Joe Biden, was initially competing against Trump. However, in July 2024, he withdrew his candidacy and endorsed Harris to run for the presidency.
