"The president of the United States and a Martian" — Internet reacts to Trump asking Elon Musk and his son X to join his family photo
Donald Trump recently celebrated his victory in the 2024 presidential elections at Mar-a-Lago with his family. His granddaughter, Kai Trump, shared a photo on X on November 7, 2024.
The photo included several members of the Republican candidate's family, including his grandchildren; his sons Don Jr., Eric, and Barron; former daughter-in-law Vanessa; another daughter-in-law, Lara Trump; daughter Ivanka and her husband, Jared; and youngest daughter Tiffany and her husband, Michael Boulos.
Netizens noticed that Melania was missing from the family photo. However, they could see Tesla CEO Elon Musk with his son X. In a vlog Kai posted on her YouTube channel, the President-elect could be seen specifically asking for Elon and his son to be in the photograph. He could be heard saying:
"We have to get Elon with his boy."
Netizens reacted to the same and flooded the social media platforms with their responses. User @alifarhat79 wrote on X:

"He knows how lucky we are to have Elon on our timeline ... our modern-day genius!!" Added a tweet.

Many other X users complimented the President-elect's gesture of inviting Elon and his son into the family photograph.

Elon Musk was one of the most vocal and powerful supporters of Donald Trump this election season
The Tesla CEO endorsed and supported the Republican candidate quite openly during the 2024 presidential election campaigns. In July 2024, Musk even donated over $100 million for the re-election bid. He was also recently seen at Mar-a-Lago when the Republican leader was on calls with world leaders, as reported by CNN.
This support even prompted the incoming President to give him a shoutout during his victory speech last week. The President-elect said:
"We have a new star. A star is born — Elon! We have to protect our geniuses; we don't have that many of them."
Aside from Donald Trump, it seemed like his family had also accepted Musk in the family. While Kai had several photos and an entire vlog covering the event at Mar-a-Lago, she shared a photo with Musk and his son on Sunday with a caption that read "Elon achieving uncle status."
This incident was not the first time Elon was seen with son X Æ A-Xii at an event related to Trump. The father-son duo was also at a Trump rally, which was organized at Madison Square Garden.
Netizens and MAGA supporters also commented on the clip and photos of Elon Musk with the President-elect's family, commenting that they found it "wholesome."
