Several sororities & fraternities like Sigma Nu had endorsed their favorite candidate in the 2024 Presidential elections

Sigma Nu wasn't the only fraternity that was seen celebrating the win of their seemingly favorable candidate. Many sororities and fraternities had previously endorsed Democrat candidate Kamala Harris.

In July 2024, Harris addressed the Zeta Phi Beta sorority, as per reports by BBC News, and said:

"In this moment our nation — as it always has — is counting on you. To energize, to organize, to mobilize. To register folks to vote, to get them to the polls and to continue to fight for the future our nation and her people deserve."

According to the same outlet, members of Alpha Kappa Alpha also extended support to the Democrat Presidential candidate. Meanwhile, in July, several members from UNC fraternities were reportedly enlisted as speakers at the Republican National Convention.

The 2024 Presidential elections ended with Trump winning 295 electoral votes, while Harris secured only 226. Trump has now become the second POTUS to be in office in two non-consecutive terms in the past 132 years, as reported by Business Today.
