As president elect Donald Trump prepares to take office next year, a clip of The Simpsons alleging that his daughter, Ivanka Trump, will win the presidential elections in 2028 has gone viral online.
This comes after the popular television show seemingly predicted the former POTUS winning the elections this year as well. Netizens have since taken to the internet to react to claims of the former advisor to Donald Trump potentially taking politics more seriously in the future.
X user @Punchy_Playz took to the social networking site to share a video that showed a clip of The Simpsons show. The clip was taken from TikTok user Tank Benton’s account, where the show’s character Homer Jay Simpson was seen wearing an “Ivanka 2028” pin.
In the 28th season of the show, which featured a Halloween episode, the family was seen dressed in costumes as they went “trick-or-treating.” Homer dressed as Bender from Futurama, and at one point he can be seen wearing the aforementioned pin.
The tweet was quick to go viral and had amassed over 700,000 views at the time of writing.
The clip went viral after The Simpsons' Trumpastic Voyage episode seemingly predicted Donald Trump being reelected as the president in 2024.
Meanwhile, many took to the internet to share their hilarious reactions to The Simpsons' aforementioned prediction, seemingly claiming that Ivanka would run for president at some point. One person said:

The Trumptastic Voyage episode was aired on July 5, 2015. The episode showed Trump running for four terms, including 2016, 2020, 2024, and 2028.
X user and Conservative political commentator Dom Lucre shared the aforementioned clip from the show and wrote in his tweet:

The tweet had amassed nearly 20 million views at the time of writing this article.
In the Trumptastic Voyage episode, Homer can be seen eating ice cream as a man in a suit approaches and asks him whether he can hold a sign for $50. The man also asks Homer whether he cares about who the next president is going to be, to which he responds by saying no.
Homer can then be seen carrying a “Paid” sign at Trump Tower and is pushed by a crowd as fans of Donald Trump gawk at Trump.
At one point, Donald Trump gets elected as president, with Homer standing behind him as he is anointed for president.
The Simpsons seems to have indicated multiple real-life instances, including the Capitol Hill riot and the 2012 election results, among others.
