"Where are his real friends?": Fans react as Kodak Black's behaviour during Kai Cenat livestream sparks concern
Kodak Black's recent appearance in a live stream video of Kai Cenat on November 4, 2024, created headlines after the rapper's movements hinted that he was high. Notably, Cenat's live streaming was a part of his ongoing Mafiathon.
Kodak spoke normally to Kai until the former's eyes appeared enlarged. His behavior eventually became strange as he was spotted consuming a white tablet, with fans speculating that it could be Percocet.
Also known as Bill Kahan Kapri, he was having trouble speaking after Kai told him to freestyle. During the freestyle session, Kodak removed his shirt and was heard saying, "I don't want to die."
In another instance, Kodak Black jumped off his chair and displayed a white substance on camera before throwing it in the air and putting it in his mouth, following which he fell on the floor.
On the other hand, Kai was giving a confused expression at the same time. A clip shared by DJ Akademiks on Instagram shows that Kodak hugged Kai and then pinched the latter, who was shocked by the action. Kodak walked towards the other side of the room and the video shifted to Kai as he said:
"That was something, man. I'm not going live bro."
Meanwhile, netizens took to the comments section of Akademiks' social media post to share their reactions to Kodak Black's behavior in the live-streaming clip. One of them also wrote:
"Where are his real friends? Shouldn't of even allowed bruh to be on stream."
Similar responses continued below the post, with a user questioning whether Kodak took some kind of drug alongside another person claiming that he was possibly acting in the video. A few others stated that Kodak needed help, with one of them stating that he needed to enter rehab.
Kodak Black confirmed on a few occasions that he was not taking drugs anymore
Although Kodak's work as a rapper has made him a popular face over the years, his drug addiction has created trouble for him on different occasions. He was even taken into custody in 2022 after being charged with oxycodone trafficking alongside possession of a controlled substance without subscription, as per USA Today. He was later released on bond.
Back in July this year, Kodak Black confirmed on Instagram Live that he was sober and added:
"I'm more proud of myself. I ain't saying I couldn't have; it was just like n*gga was scared to be sober. That's motivation for n*ggas to feel like if the Gremlin could do it. Y'all could do it."
During another live session in April 2024, Kodak Black recalled that he used to chew a lot of Percocet, adding that he does not want to describe himself as an "anti-Perc." He also revealed that he took almost 40 Percocets and continued:
"I'm telling y'all this man. I ain't know, to the point where I look at this sh*t and be like, what the f*ck was wrong with me, bruh? I listen to my music and be like, bro, what the f*ck, fam?"
Kodak's has not announced any new album until now. His last major release was When I Was Dead, which came out in 2023 and grabbed the 74th spot on the US Billboard 200.
