The Bachelor alum Maria Georgas took to her Instagram stories on November 20 to debunk rumors of her dating Pete Davidson. She also addressed rumors of him checking into rehab in Florida. This comes after an unidentified source told The U.S. Sun that he was in “pretty bad shape.”
Maria Georgas shared two Instagram stories regarding Pete Davidson. The 30-year-old said:
“Never dated Pete. False rumor. I’m friends with his sister. Case closed.”
In another Instagram story, she addressed his mental health and shared:
“Just spoke to his sister. He’s not in rehab has been sober for months. Can’t believe this sh*t. It’s very insulting to his recovery and my mental health. He’s literally home.”
For those uninitiated, Maria Georgas is best known for her appearance on the 28th season of The Bachelor. Apart from being a reality star, she also had a brief acting stint where she acted in movies like The Pacifier alongside Vin Diesel. She was also an executive assistant in the entertainment industry. She has amassed over 650,000 followers on Instagram.

Maria Georgas garnered a massive following online after she attempted to win over Joey Graziadei on the aforementioned show. She became a fan favorite due to her impressive fashion sense; however, she was eliminated from the show following hometown dates.
As she became increasingly popular, many expected her to return to the show. Georgas also revealed on Call Her Daddy in May that she was offered to appear on The Bachelorette; however, she declined. She revealed:
“I was offered the role. It was mine until I said it wasn’t. It became very overwhelming to the point where I had to decline.”
The U.S. Sun had earlier reported that Pete Davidson had a “secret romance” with Georgas. An unnamed insider told the news outlet:
“He ended a fling with Maria just before he checked in.”
The publication also alleged that the duo dated “for a couple of months.”
Pete Davidson had checked into rehab for his mental health in the past. A source told PEOPLE magazine back in July that the comedian took his mental health seriously and was focused on his sobriety. A source also told Page Six last year:
“Pete regularly goes to rehab for ‘tune ups’ and to take a mental break, so that’s what’s happening.”
In an interview with Charlamagne Tha God, he shared his bipolar, borderline personality disorder, and PTSD diagnosis. Pete Davidson said in 2017:
“I have to get my meds re-adjusted all the time. I have in between bipolar and borderline and PTSD and sh*t from my childhood, so I have to go and get re-adjusted every once in a while. I don’t think going to rehab is that big of a deal. I think it’s like a really strong, powerful thing.”
